The Kirkland Lake Festivals Committee is a local group of volunteers commited to organizing special
events for the people
of Kirkland Lake and area.
The Festivals Committee oversees the annual Kirkland Lake Winter Carnival for 2 1/2 weeks in
Feb & March & Kirkland Lake's Homecoming weekend on Canada Day weekend.
Since 2001, the Committee has presented some of the biggest names in Canadian Music including Randy Bachman,
Tom Cochrane, David Wilcox, Roch Voisine, Michelle Wright, Trooper, The Jim Cuddy Band, April Wine, Jimmy
Rankin, Alannah Myles, Honeymoon Suite, Platinum Blonde, Amy Sky, The Stampeders, The Jeff Healey Band, Colin
James and more.
